Work Session - October 13, 2018
After many months of work under the able leadership of Mike Miller, the big day finally arrived to move Red River & Gulf Engine #106 out from the Car Shop. The crew began arriving at 8:00am for final preparations. By 10:00am, the crowd was gathering... and growing fast. Just past 11:00am, the dozer gently pulled Engine #106 a few feet and then rolled her out. 20 minutes later she was quietly resting outside in the sunlight filtered by 50 ft. Long Leaf pines.
Ain't it great when a plan comes together so perfectly?
